At LPDS, we are passionate about advancing oral health care for all, especially for underserved communities that face the greatest barriers. Through our advocacy efforts, we work to influence policy, secure funding for dental programs, and promote greater access to care.

That is why we are excited to officially integrate our LPDS Dental Advocacy Day program—the first in the nation to do this. Every year, LPDS members will travel to Washington, D.C., to meet with lawmakers during Dental Advocacy Day. Together, we advocate for increased federal funding for oral health programs, expanded Medicaid dental coverage, and improved access to preventative and community-based dental care.

Why It Matters:

Access to oral healthcare is a fundamental right. Through Advocacy, LPDS highlights the stories of communities that, like the membership, are often left behind. This initiative ensures healthier smiles and healthier futures for all.
